Themes for student section back again
On December 14, PIHS students cheer on the varsity boys basketball team as they play Old Town. The theme was “Candy Cane.”

The PIHS students section is back. To kick off regular season home games on December 13, the varsity and JV girls basketball team hosted the Old Town Coyotes. The student section theme was Santa Hats and Christmas Sweaters. The next day, the student section was “Candy Cane” for the JV and varsity boys games against Old Town.
“I get all of my inspiration from the pure Wildcat spirit in my heart,” student section organizer Gavin Tawfall ’23 said. “The themes just appear in my dreams. It was like the Wildcat chose me, and it’s not that hard. You just have to be confident when you’re leading the chants. I love doing it.”
The next home games are December 29 against Winslow.
