On February 6, the girls and boys varsity basketball teams hosted the Hermon Hawks. Both teams came out with the win, moving the teams to 8th place heading into the games against Caribou on February 7 and 8.

The varsity girls went into double overtime, but finally took the lead and held it at 47 to 44. This game kept going back and forth leaving the people working the concession stand on their toes, literally. “It was fun when we leaned over the counter to watch the game on the TV, and it was intense, because we went into double overtime for them to win,” Malackai Winslow ’26 said.

The boys game ended in a 43 to 25 win. For rescheduled games early on a Monday evening, the cheering was so loud we could hear it all the way downstairs in the concession stand.
