Winter carnival plans are accelerating in March. Classes are now able to sign up for level two and three events and rules for those events have been emailed to all grades by Student Council co-adviser, Mrs. Whitten-Smith.

Winter carnival brings out all of the school spirit and competitive attitudes throughout the school, with every event from Air Band to Quidditch. Level three events this year feature games such as “Hungry Hungry Hippos,” “Jeopardy,” and “Just Dance.” “I’m most excited for the relay race, I think it will be super fun,” Jaicey McFadden ’26 said.

Also added to this year’s Winter Carnival schedule is the winter ball semi-formal on March 17. All grades are on the same page of not having known or experienced a winter ball in the past, giving winter carnival a whole new feel of togetherness across PIHS grades.

As events are being prepped and students are getting excited, the atmosphere of PIHS is buzzing with anticipation.
