The varsity softball and baseball teams traveled to MDI on Saturday, April 29. Both teams had double headers. In the first game both teams took the win. The girls won 3-1 and the boys won 8-4.

Sadly they didn’t end the day the way they had planned. The baseball team lost 5-4, which puts them at 1-4 for the season. Three of their losses have only been by one run. “We would have three wins right now if we had no errors,” said Jack Boone ’24.

Their next game is at home against Fort Kent on May 5 with a start time of 1:00. “We make some silly mistakes that cost us runs that we can’t let up,” said Boone.

The softball team also lost their second game 7-2. This puts them at 2-3 on the season and their next game is against Fort Kent on May 11.
