The annual 2017 senior fashion show was held Thursday, October 19th in the PIHS auditorium, and it was eventful.

The local company Blush has been kind enough to donate dresses and tuxedos for seniors to model, and according to the manager Amber at Blush, they’ve been doing this for around 15 years now.

The company started donating dresses and tuxedos to help our PIHS seniors out with raising money, however, they also do it for advertisement.

According to Amber, “Before there was social media it was harder to advertise our clothing.”

As one of the senior class’ biggest fundraisers, it was a win-win for both the seniors and Blush.

At the fashion show, we saw everything from classy jeweled dressed, to gorgeous casual cocktail dresses, to ultra slim fit tuxedos.

Before the fashion show started, senior Julia Sherman said, “I’m definitely nervous, but also excited for this. My dress makes me look like a princess, and it’s nice to see everyone looking decent for once.”

Sherman wore a stunning baby pink ball gown that had a gorgeous beaded top.

“I can’t believe this is ‘my’ fashion show either, I’ve been going to these for the past four years, and now I’m in it. It’s definitely a wake up call for all of us,” she added.
