Senior Showcase – Kristen Chambers

This is Kristen Chambers – Her fondest PIHS memory is hearing that she won murals freshman year. She screamed so loudly and was so excited, and continued the trend by winning murals every year after that. She was raised incredibly religious, and wasn’t allowed to do sports, or any extra-curricular activities. Senior year she left home so she could be herself without hiding it. She’s a proud Pacific Islander, and her mother is from a small island named Tokelau off New Zealand. Her father chose the name Kristen, instead of being named Moana to be more American. She visits her family in New Zealand often, and plans to go to college for graphic design. Eventually, she plans to marry her high school sweetheart who sticks with her through thick and thin.
