The Wildcats golf team had a successful regular season finishing 12-0.

They traveled to the PVC tournament on September 27 and came through with a win. Presque Isle scored a 350 to earn first, MDI came in second with a 354, and Caribou in third with a 393. Gavin Dunleavy was the low man for the Wildcats with an 88.

Moving forward, the team traveled to States at Natanis Golf Course with lots of motivation. States took place on October 8. Presque Isle placed seventh, shooting a 365. In first was Leavitt with a 330, second was Cape Elizabeth shooting a 344, and Gardiner and Yarmouth tied for third with a 351.

I’d describe the golf season in two words, ‘undefeated family.’

“Our final mindset was to finish strong as a team and whatever happens we know how well we did all year,” said team captain Grant Stubbs ’24.
