In a season that has had a lot of tears and laughs to go around, the varsity girls soccer team earned a win against Ellsworth on October 25 in the Northern Maine Class B quarterfinals.

With 1:06 remaining in the first overtime, Olivia Locke ’25 scored her second goal of the game, ending the game with a sore of 3-2. “When I was shooting I knew the goalie was pretty short, so all I tried to do was float it over her head and hope if she got it a teammate would deflect it in,” Locke said. “After that I automatically felt relieved and just wanted hugs from all my teammates who are my best friends.”

The girls team travels to Old Town on Saturday, October 29 to face off for the semifinals.
