On Friday October 28, the boys varsity soccer team made the trip down to Mount Desert Island to take on the Trojans in a quarter-final matchup.

In the low scoring affair, the Wildcats opened up the scoring early on when Dawson Kinney scored from just outside the 18-yard box. Despite heading into halftime leading 1-0, this would be all for the Wildcats as  MDI was able to shut them down for much of the second half.  After the break, the Trojans scored their two goals to stun the boys and send them home empty handed. “It stings because we had a lot of seniors,” Eli Mosher ’26. “We can learn to enjoy the short time that we have and to not take it for granted.”
