In Easton on November 29, the junior varsity boys basketball team started off their season with a bang. The Wildcats entered the Easton Bears’ den with a fierce confidence that absolutely dominated.

Led by first year JV coach Michael Boone, this year’s team is looking strong, confident, and hungry for some wins. “We made little mistakes, but we have a pretty solid team to build on,” said freshman Lane Carmichael. “I think we’ll have a really good team by the end of the season.”

The game against the Easton boys junior varsity team was a perfect way to start the season. Starting off with a pretty tight gap in the score, everyone was on the edge of their seats until the Wildcats worked together with some strategic plays to get ahead and make a huge gap on the scoreboard.

“We won 64-34 and the team couldn’t have been happier,” Dan White ’25 said. “It was a great way to start the season. We’re all very supportive and loudly cheer each other on.”
