“Food, a lot of food”. That is how Alyssa Blade 26’ described her thanksgiving. “It was good, I went to my sisters friends house.” Blade said.

For Thanksgiving, there were lots of trips and dinners, with a lot in the air to still be thankful for. I wanted to see how people around the school would react to this question of “What are you thankful for?”

I chose one student from each grade to find out what they were most thankful for this season. Lexi Morningstar ’24 said, “I’m thankful for family, friends, and a new season of life with new opportunities.” Moving on to an answer that took me by surprise, Brad Pelletier ’25 said, “I’m thankful for my friends, my family, and being able to go outdoors.”

Looking at our sophomores, Alyssa Blade ’26 said, “I am thankful for the fact that I am taking a trip to Bangor to spend time with my cousins and my sister.” Finally, Emma Cormier ’27 said, “I’m thankful for my family and my boyfriend.”

Moving on, I decided I also wanted to find out what our teachers were thankful for. I interviewed Mrs. Sargent who said, “I am beyond thankful for my family and my many blessings.”

As for myself, I’m thankful for our school community and all the wonderful people.
