We all know that different bottles have been a trend throughout the years. Currently, it is between the Stanley cup and the Owala bottle. Let’s see which one is better

Starting with the Stanley, it’s about $45 and comes with lots of accessories and colors. The accessories include straw toppers, a silicone boot for the bottom of your cup, a snack tray, a chapstick holder, a mini backpack, a key chain for the handle, and you can get them engraved or get a personalized name plate for it. There are over thirty color options and five different sizes to choose from. The handle makes it easily portable. They keep water cold for 11 hours and hot for seven hours. They also hold ice for up to two days. “I have a rubber handle that is wrapped around the lid so it’s easier to hold onto when I’m walking around. I also find that it doesn’t spill as often, it’s really convenient,” Neve Guerrette ’25 said.

Looking at the Owala bottle, it also comes with different accessories and color options. The three accessories include a bottle boot, an attachable pet bowl, and a bottle brush to make cleaning easier. Besides having different size options for bottles they also offer a thermos cup, two tumblers and kids bottles. They have a wide range of over 15 color options including a custom marvel bottle and cosmic colors. As for portability, they have a handle that can attach to your bag. They keep water cold for up to 24 hours and can also do carbonated drinks. “It’s a nice bottle, I like the mouthpiece and the straw,” Hailey Bois ’26 said when asked what she likes best about the Owala bottle. Owala also has new designs coming soon this month. 

There are a lot of pros and cons of each bottle but overall they both work well and get the job done. Overall Stanley had more colors but the Owala has a better probability of holding ice longer. Stanley has more accessories and colors.
