Members from the Presque Isle FFA coordinate with the state vice president during a workshop activity. This was the first all members workshop of the new school year. “My favorite part of the day was doing activities and meeting new people,” Braden Doughty ’25 said.

On Tuesday, Dec. 5, the Presque Isle FFA chapter traveled to UMPI for the annual Maine FFA all members workshop. The workshop is put on by the State of Maine officer team which consists of President Brinleigh Kingsbury, Vice President Haley Mayne, and Secretary Amelia Pillis.

The workshop consists of activities and leadership building games that can give members a taste of what FFA is about and acts as a mock State convention. It also serves as a way for multiple chapter members to converse with people from other schools in the state. “As a Presque Isle officer, I’ve learned that having good communication in teams is important,” Braden Doughty ’25 said.

For more information or if you’d like to join FFA visit Mrs. McCury in the Ag Science area.
