Hawaiian pizza has always seemed to be a big debate amongst friends. You either love it or despise it.
Reasons why you love it:
“I suppose pineapple belongs on pizza,” Mr. Bartlett said.
- The sweetness of the pineapple compliments the tomato sauce
- Good source of vitamin C
- Cooked pineapple is just overall delicious
- The saltiness of the ham balances out the sweetness of the pineapple
- Your taste buds are better than everyone else’s
Reasons to hate it:
“Ew get away from me, pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza,” Adrian Dow ’27 said
Your friends tell you to get away from them
- Gordan Ramsay doesn’t approve of it
- You don’t know who to trust with the information of your liking for pineapple pizza
- The texture is strange
- People will try and change your mind on why you shouldn’t like it
- It was made in Canada
In my opinion, Hawaiian pizza is one of the best pizzas to be created. I like it because it combines the sweetness of the pineapple and the saltiness of the ham so well the flavor just explodes in my mouth, but I understand that some people don’t like it because to them the texture and flavor could come out weird. So what is your opinion on Hawaiian pizza?
