SENIOR SHOWCASE This is Landyn Newlands - His fondest PIHS memory was being as a class, laughing and making every moment count. He plans on attending the School of Fashion for a degree in fashion editorials and media, and getting a second degree in fashion business. One of his many goals is to become an editor-in-chief of a fashion magazine, and create his own fashion brand and clothing line.

She’s planning on going to the University of Maine for Chemical Engineering through the honors program.

SENIOR SHOWCASE This is Jenna Sargent - Her fondest PIHS memory was during Winter Carnival freshman year. None of the classes expected them to know what they were doing, but they ended up beating the sophomores and making them really mad! She’ll attend Hudson University in the fall and major in nursing to become a family nurse practitioner. When she’s not working or going to school, she’ll be enjoying the outdoors and spending all her money at T.J. Maxx.

SENIOR SHOWCASE This is Kristen Chambers - Her fondest PIHS memory is hearing that she won murals freshman year. She screamed so loudly and was so excited, and continued the trend by winning murals every year after that. She was raised incredibly religious, and wasn’t allowed to do sports, or any extra-curricular activities. Senior year she left home so she could be herself without hiding it. She’s a proud Pacific Islander, and her mother is from a small island named Tokelau off New Zealand. Her father chose the name Kristen, instead of being named Moana to be more American. She visits her family in New Zealand often, and plans to go to college for graphic design. Eventually, she plans to marry her high school sweetheart who sticks with her through thick and thin.

SENIOR SHOWCASE This is Bethany Baker - Her fondest PIHS memory was leaving for lunch the first day after McDonald’s reopened, and running over the curb in the drive through because she was running late. She’ll be attending the University of Vermont in the Honors College to major in psychological sciences. She hopes to attend medical school after receiving her Bachelor’s degree, and obtain a PhD in Psychiatric Medicine with a concentration in Criminal/Forensic Psychiatry.

SENIOR SHOWCASE This is Isabella Harvath - She’ll be going to Husson University for business management. She wants to be able to use her degree to pursue a job in the fashion industry. When she gets older, she hopes to travel the world, be successful, and move outside the country to experience life outside the county.

She plans on attending Eastern Maine Community College for radiography, and when she graduates in 2024, she’ll come back to the county. She also plans to adopt a minimum of three pups.

SENIOR SHOWCASE This is Krista Williams - Her fondest PIHS memory was when two of her classmates dressed as Donald and Daisy Duck for the first pep rally and won the first jug. She plans to go to NMCC for Accounting and Business Administration, and go to Hudson University and get her Master’s degree. She hopes to work at MMG for the rest of her life and after retirement work as a business teacher at PIHS.

SENIOR SHOWCASE This is Izzy Higgins - Her fondest PIHS memory was taking Unsolved Mysteries with Mr. P. She never knew what topic he would come up with when he walks through the door at the beginning of class and waste the next 20 minutes ending in a terrible pun that led to the actual discussion. She’ll be attending the University of Kentucky this fall and major in Equine Science with a minor in Agricultural Communications.

Everything was going for his class, costumes, skits, chants, and wildcat pride. He’ll attend Western Michigan University as one of twenty Medallion Scholars. He plans on studying sports management in hopes to become part of a major sports franchise.

SENIOR SHOWCASE This is Ben Ryan - His fondest PIHS memory was being a part of the track and field team. Everyone feels like family to him. He moved to Presque Isle nine years ago from New Hampshire with his mom and two brothers. Growing up with them made him who he is. He loves track and field, fishing, and is passionate about the things he loves. He plans to make enough capital to get a business going and after he graduated he’ll be a salesman and Verizon wireless.

Her group had only finished a slide and a half and then presented the rest of the template which was in a different language. The entire class was laughing as they did their best to act confident. She’ll attend Louisiana State University in the fall and major in Business Marketing.

As of this moment, the future of pep rallies at PIHS hangs in the balance, unless students step up and prove they want to participate in them. “The pep rallies are an s time to build school camaraderie. As a class advisor, I am pleased that the tradition will continue. It is a wonderful time to reinvigorate them so that students and staff will find them worthwhile,” said Melanie Junkins, senior class advisor.
